Trainee Selection date 22/04/2017 to 29/04/2017 at Wisteria House, Newtown Lane, West Pennard, Glastonbury, Somerset BA6 8NL
Trainees at Diploma level or above are invited to book a place on either Saturday 22nd or Saturday 29th April to seek selection for placement in a GP surgery. Each day is expected to start at 9.30 and end at 4.30.
Trainees will meet several of the Collective Member supervisors who all have experience of working in Primary Care.
The day will involve informal group discussion and role play - where supervisors will be in role as patients
You will need to bring lunch with you. Tea / Coffee and biscuits will be provided
Wisteria House is opposite the Village Hall in West Pennard, where there is parking available.
West Pennard is a village on the A361, between Glastonbury and Shepton Mallet
Successful trainees will be invited to attend an induction day to prepare them for working in this specific type of placement
Whilst every effort will be made to place all successful trainees the Counsellors' Collective cannot guarantee that a placement will be found quickly. It is helpful if trainees already have Student Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. UKCP, BACP), and an up to date enhanced DBS certificate. In addition we will require student indemnity insurance and a tutor reference before placement can begin.
