Introduction to Equine Assisted Therapy and Learning 10/06/2017 at Penwood Farm, Woodlands, Nr Glastonbury, Somerset BA6 8LH

We are delighted to offer an introduction to 'Equine Assisted Therapy and Learning' provided by Livvy Adams and Claire Ryall of Painted Horse.   Claire is a Member of the Counsellors' Collective and this is one extra skill that she brings to her work.  Both Livvy and Claire are registered LEAP practitioners (www.leapequine.com).

The event will run from 10am - 4pm, at Homeway Farm, Westhay Road, Meare, Glastonbury, BA6 9TL.  You will need to bring some warm, waterproof clothing and be ready to get a bit painty as you will have a chance both to observe and be 'hands on'!

Equine Assisted Learning/Therapy is increasingly recognised as a creative and helpful intervention which offers a 'way in' for people, particulary those who find expressing themselves in words difficult - and this day offers a great opportunity to discover more about it.

Livvy and Claire will be working with 4 horses and the group will be limited to a maximum of 12.  Light refreshments and a ploughman's lunch will be provided.

The cost of the day for Members will be £40; Non-Members £60 and 1 trainee place at £20

Early booking is going to be essential for this day!  Please contact us for a booking form at info@counsellorscollective.co.uk  In the meantime you may like to visit https://paintedhorse.org.uk/ to find out more
